Select Loop

Point Mode:
In point mode, the tool performs like the classic select loop tools found in popular 3d applications like Nendo, 3DS Max, Mirai, etc. There is an existing plugin to do something similar called point belt selector, but there were two things I wanted to do different with this plugin: 1 - the point belt selector didn't always select points in a way consistent with how other applications define an edge loop. 2 - it didn't order the selection in a linear order - I found this to be frustrating when working with order-dependent lightwave tools. My tool addresses both of these features along with providing dual-functionality between point and polygon modes.

Poly Mode:
In poly mode, the tool works just like a quick bandsaw selection without any cuts. It can be a quick way to select a band of polys for tweaking without going through the panel interface - especially if you are using keyboard shortcuts for my plugins.
