Find Skelegons
Find skelegons is a tool which lets you find and select skelegons based on their names.
To use the tool, first select the skelegons you want to search through (or clear the polygon selection if you want to search through all of the skelegons). Next, type in the text you want to find. All skelegons with names that contain the search text will then be selected.
Search Text
: the text you want to use for searching.
Search Area
: the area of the bone name you want to search. There are three modes:
anywhere
,
prefix
, and
suffix
.
Anywhere
: This specifies that the search examines all parts of a bone's name to search for a match. For example, if a bone's name is 'foobarbaz', a search for "bar" with 'anywhere' search area will find that bone. The same is true of searching for 'foo', 'baz', 'foobar', etc.
Prefix
: This specifies that the search examines only the beginning of a bone's name for a match. For example, if a bone's name is 'foobarbaz', a search for 'bar' with 'prefix' search area will not find that bone. A search for 'foo' will, however, as well as 'foobar', 'foob', etc.
Suffix
: This specifies that the search examines only the end of a bone's name for a match. For example, if a bone's name is 'foobarbaz', a search for 'bar' with 'suffix' search area will not find that bone. A search for 'baz' will, however, as well as 'barbaz', 'arbaz', etc.
Match Case
: If selected, the search will be case-sensitive. "FoO" will not be considered the same as "foo" or "FOO".
Find
: Activates the search. Any bones that are matched will be reported and selected.
Cancel
: Cancels the search.
