Select Child/Parent

Select Child/Parent will select the next child/parent skelegon. There's a native tool that does the same thing called "Select Child/Parent Skelegon." However, mine has a couple of enhancements.

First, when multiple children/parents are available, instead of choosing the first child/parent, the tool will prompt you with a quick dialog asking you which child/parent you want to select. The dialog looks like this:

Since you generally want to be able to move through skelegons quickly, the dialogue comes with a slew of keyboard and mouse shortcuts. You can double-click anywhere on the list to select the item. You can also scroll through the list with your up/down cursor keys, page up/page down, and home/end like any windows list box. Additionally, the numbers/letters beside each skelegon name is a keyboard shortcut. In the example above, we have two keyboard shortcuts: "1" and "2" which can be activated by pressing the number keys. In the unlikely event that you have more than 9 child skelegons, the plugin will offer keyboard shortcuts using letters as well as numbers. Item 10 will be 'a', 11 will be 'b', and so forth. If you want to cancel the selection, hit escape.

Aside from having the ability to select which child/parent you want to traverse when you come across an intersection, the plugin will also automatically activate any weight maps associated with the skelegons you select (if they exist).

The plugins are really nice if you have them bound to keyboard shortcuts. I personally use ctrl-up and ctrl-down.
