Weight Manager

Weight manager is a tool that lets you select, view, mirror, and delete groups of weight maps.

For the mirror function to work, you need a model that's symmetrical. Use Symmetry Manager if you need to make some repairs but don't want to destroy any asymmetrical vertex maps.

Functions:

Select All - selects all the weight maps in the list.

Select None - deselects all the weight maps in the list.

Find Weight Maps - finds and selects specific weight maps in the list based on a text search. See Find SGons to get an understanding of how to use this feature.

Select Affected Vertices - selects the vertices that are affected by the selected weight maps based on the select threshold above. Only points that are affected more than the threshold value will be selected.

Select Opposite Vertices - selects the vertices that lie on the opposite side of the vertices that are affected by the weight map. This will let you preview how the mirror operation will work. This function will only select vertices that are symmetrical to the original points.

Mirror Selected Maps - mirrors the selected weight maps by creating new weight maps and copying the selected weight maps' values to vertices on the opposite side of the model. See SGon Manager for information on how the mirror options work.

Delete Selected - deletes the selected weight maps. The plugin does this by clearing the weight map values from every vertex. If you delete all the weight maps in the model, one of the weight maps you deleted will be active when you quit. Simple switch to 'subpatch weights' or 'none' for the active weight map and the weight map will disappear from the list.

Quit - closes the panel and allows you to resume modeling.
